Road trip toll calculator

Plot your route and XCRSN shows the tolls on the Route tab, next to your fuel cost — so you know the full price of the drive before you leave.

Calculate tolls for my route

How it works

  1. Enter your start and destination on the Route tab.
  2. The toll total appears under the route summary.
  3. Turn on Avoid Tolls to compare the toll-free drive time and distance.
  4. Add your vehicle on the Fuel tab to see tolls and fuel together.

Where toll prices come from

In countries where Google Maps prices every toll on your route, such as the United States, XCRSN shows Google's toll price. Elsewhere — including most of Europe — Google doesn't return prices, so XCRSN shows a clearly labeled country estimate instead of a made-up exact number.

Vignettes and toll stickers abroad

Countries like Switzerland, Austria and Czechia charge a time-based vignette instead of per-trip tolls. When your route crosses one, XCRSN flags it so you can buy the sticker or e-vignette before the border.

Is avoiding tolls worth it?

Toll-free routes are often longer. Extra miles mean extra fuel, so compare both: if avoiding a $12 toll adds 40 miles in a 25 MPG car at $3.50 a gallon, you spend about $5.60 more on fuel and save about $6.40 — plus the extra time. XCRSN shows both numbers so you can decide.
