Texas Renaissance Festival: Houston to Todd Mission
The world's largest ren faire, an hour northwest of Houston.
Every fall weekend the Texas Renaissance Festival turns the pine woods at Todd Mission into a medieval city. Most visitors drive up from Houston on TX-249; the closest beds go fast, so book The Woodlands or Magnolia early.
